Franklin Brand

Franklin RO Brand (* in Nevis ) is a politician from St. Kitts and Nevis .

Life

Brand was chief statistician of the Nevis Island Administration and temporarily parliamentary secretary for tourism, trade, industry, development and planning of the NIA. He was active as president of the country's Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was also director of the Foundation for National Development Enterprise Credit Union (FND-ECCU) Ltd) . He is also co-founder and president of the St. Kitts and Nevis Small Business Forum , a non-profit organization founded in 2011 . He is the co-owner and executive director of Island Bakeries Ltd on St. Kitts and the former manager of Nevis Bakery Ltd in Charlestown .

On May 14, 2015, Brand succeeded Curtis Martin as spokesman for the National Assembly , but resigned from this office in May 2016 for health reasons. He was succeeded on June 30, 2016 by Anthony Michael Perkins . He is involved in the Rotary Club of St. Kitts and as a member of the St. Kitts and Nevis Social Security Board .

His marriage to Jacqueline Evelyn had four children.
