Franz Völker Prize

The Franz-Völker-Preis is a music prize that has been awarded every five years by the city of Neu-Isenburg since 1989 in cooperation with the Mainz State Theater to three young tenors. It is named after the tenor Franz Völker , who was born in Neu-Isenburg, and is endowed with € 3,000 (now € 6,000) study grant.
