Franz Bürckner

Franz Bürckner (* before 1548; † 1574 in Heilbronn ) was a German politician and from 1565 to 1574 mayor of Heilbronn.

Life

Very little is known about his life. In 1548 Bürckner was a member of the Heilbronn inner council ("von den Burgern"), then a judge and from 1553 tax master . From 1565 to 1574 he was mayor of the imperial city. His gravestone has been preserved in the Heilbronn old cemetery .
