Franz Joseph Burgener
Franz Joseph Burgener (baptized October 16, 1697 in Visp ; † January 16, 1767 in Visp) was governor of the Valais .
In 1717 he became Kastlan des Zenden Visp and member of the Valais district council, from 1727 to 1729 he was bailiff of Monthey , from 1731 commander of the Upper Valais militias and from 1742 to 1761 governor.
