Franz Köck (painter)

Franz Köck (born July 4, 1886 in Graz , † January 15, 1975 ibid) was an Austrian history, landscape and portrait painter and fresco artist.

Franz Köck studied at the Landeskunstschule in Graz under Anton Marussig , Alfred von Schrötter and Alfred Zoff . F. Köck worked in Graz and Judendorf-Straßengel . In 1923 he received the Golden State Medal. Many of his - mostly Styrian - landscape paintings (in oil or in oil pastel) are in private or public collections, e.g. B. in the Neue Galerie at the Landesmuseum Joanneum in Graz.
