The Franziska Church in Stuttgart-Birkach is the village church of the district and the center of the "Evangelical Church Community Stuttgart-Birkach" within the church district of Degerloch . It was built from 1779 to 1780 by the Württemberg court architect Reinhard Ferdinand Heinrich Fischer on behalf of Duke Carl Eugen von Württemberg for Franziska von Hohenheim .

The church bears the inscription Templum a Carolo structum, the Caroli consecratum MDCCLXXX (in German: The church was built by Carl and consecrated on Carlstag 1780) on the portal. The day of the consecration is November 4th 1780.

Inside the church, on the church ceiling and on the parapet of the gallery, there is the intertwined CC monogram of Duke Carl Eugen with the ducal hat .
