Nescher (נשר, نشر, DMG Našir ) is a city in Israel . It is located southeast of Haifa and had 23,983 inhabitants in 2018. Nescher was founded in 1925.

history
The place was built in 1925 next to the Nescher cement works founded in 1923 (נֶשֶׁר מִפְעָלֵי מֶלֶט יִשְׂרָאֵלִיִּים Nescher Mifʿalej Meleṭ Jisra'elijjīm ) and was named after them. TheNescher station openedon the old Jezreel Valley Railway in 1925. Nescher received city status in 1995.
