Freddy Piamonte

Carlos Fernando Piamonte Rodríguez (born June 4, 1982 in Aquitania , called Freddy or Fredy Piamonte ) is a Colombian road cyclist .

Freddy Piamonte won a stage of the Vuelta a Boyacà in 2003 and the Clásica de Ciclomontañismo in 2004 . He has been driving for the Colombian Continental Team EPM-UNE since 2007 . In the 2009 season he won a stage and the overall ranking at the Clásica Rionegro con Futuro-Aguas de Rionegro and at the Clásica Ciudad de Girardot. He was also successful in a section of the Vuelta a Boyacà. The next year he won a stage and the overall classification at the Vuelta a Chiriquí. In 2011 Piamonte was stage winner at the Vuelta al Valle del Cauca and in 2012 he won a section of the Vuelta a Guatemala .
