Sincerity
Freimut ( mhd. Vrîmuot "free, bold courage") describes a character trait in New High German , the wearer of which openly reveals his opinion and convictions and does not suppress or disguise them with regard to possible contradictions or social conventions.
As a proper name Freimut (with spelling variants Freimuth , Freymuth , Fremuth and phonetic variant Friemut (h) ) has been widespread as a first and last name since at least the 18th century and is considered a modern analogy to older names of the type Hartmut , Frod (e) mut , Almut . In the 19th century Freimut or Freimuth as a surname was a popular speaking pseudonym of writers who signaled that the content of their publication could only be published under a pseudonym for the sake of openness.
