Freyja Scholing
Freyja Scholing (born October 16, 1912 in East Prussia ; † January 22, 2005 in Lüneburg ) was a politician from Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen .
Life
Freyja Scholing was a council member of the Ilmenau community from 1981 to 1986 and was involved in numerous committees until 1994. From 1981 to 1987 she was also a member of the Lüneburg district council .
In 1984 Scholing was a co-founder of the political party Die Grünen both in Lower Saxony and nationwide. She was committed to ecology and peace politics and was also the founder of the Lüneburg association "Technology - Environment - Nature". As a staunch pacifist , she resigned from the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party in 2002 after the party had agreed to the Bundeswehr mission in Afghanistan .
Freyja Scholing has three daughters and one son.
