Peace Prize of the German-Israeli Society

The Peace Prize of the German-Israeli Society was awarded every two years from 2001 to 2010 by the German-Israeli Society in Berlin to selected Arab and Jewish NGOs that are committed to the peaceful coexistence of the people in Israel in an exemplary manner. The prize was endowed with 5000 euros. The Commerzbank Foundation provided the prize money .

  • 2001 - Arab Jewish Cultural Center Beit Hagefen in Haifa for the Young Leadership project
  • 2003 - The Neve Shalom / Wahat al Salam School of Peace
  • 2005 - The Hand in Hand School Jerusalem
  • 2010 - The Jewish Amakim Tavor School in Kibbutz Mizra and the Arab Iksal School
