Mühlburg cemetery
The Mühlburg cemetery is a cemetery complex in the western Karlsruhe district of Mühlburg , which covers an area of 2.26 hectares.
history
The cemetery in Mühlburg was opened in 1857 and was located in the immediate vicinity of the former Seldeneck brewery . In the cemetery there is a sculpture by the sculptor Carl Egler, which is supposed to commemorate the victims of the Second World War . The grave of the ancestors of the writer Marie Luise Kaschnitz is also located in the cemetery .
