The cemetery in Woringen is located on the site of the former Catholic parish church of St. Martin in Woringen and is a listed building.

history

The Catholic parish church of St. Martin was demolished on April 8, 1806, despite the resistance of the last pastor of Woringen, Adalbert Scholl. The building material was used to rebuild the parsonage in the neighboring municipality of Zell to the south . Three medieval tombstones of the siblings Ursula, Madlena and Barbara Unold from 1675 next to the morgue are also under monument protection.
