Friedrich Bathildis Medal

The Friedrich Bathildis Medal was donated by Prince Friedrich von Waldeck on December 24, 1915 and named after him and his wife Princess Bathildis . The medalist was Rudolf Kowarzik . The award could be given to all persons who "during the difficult time of the war in the service of charity particularly distinguished themselves through outstanding, self-sacrificing work in the field of war welfare".

The bronze medal shows the image of the founder and his wife on the front with the inscription FRIEDRICH-BATHILDIS F. u F. z. W. u. P. overleaf stands FOR FAITHFUL WORK IN IRON TIME 1915 .

The ribbon is watered red with black and yellow stripes.
