Friedrich I. von Pfirt
Friedrich I († around 1160 ) was the first Count of Pfirt (Ferrette) in Upper Alsace.
Life
Friedrich was a son of Count Dietrich von Mousson . After the death of his father, he ruled the county together with his brother Dietrich.
In 1105 Friedrich made extensive donations for the Cluny monastery . In 1125 he was first mentioned as comes de Ferretes ( Count of Pfirt ). In 1143 or 1144 he founded the Feldbach women's monastery and in 1144, together with the St-Morand monastery in Altkirch, made it a priory of the Cluny Abbey .

Friedrich was married to
- Petrissa, daughter of Duke Berthold II von Zähringen and Agnes von Rheinfelden . The two probably had no children.
- 1144 Stephanie, daughter of Count Gerhard von Vaudémont and Heilwig von Egisheim. Was a son
- Ludwig († around 1189/94), Count von Pfirt
