Friedrich Strobl

Friedrich Strobl (born June 10, 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ). Since 1996 he has been a member of the Vienna State Parliament and a member of the Vienna City Council .

Friedrich Strobl was a businessman in the sports retail trade and is currently self-employed. From 1993 onwards, Strobl became politically active as chairman of the trade section in the trade association and deputy chairman of the section in the Vienna Chamber of Commerce . Strobl has been a member of the Chamber of Commerce of Vienna since 1993 and of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce since 1994. In 1995 Strobl was elected President of the Social Democratic Business Association Vienna and a member of the State Party Executive of the SPÖ Vienna. Since 1996 he has been Vice President of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and Member of the Vienna State Parliament and City Council. Strobl represents the SPÖ in the 18th legislative period in the committee for “Finances, Economic Policy and Wiener Stadtwerke”. Since 2004 he has been chairman of the SPÖ Währing.

Friedrich Strobl is married and has two children.
