Friedrich Wilhelm Grandhomme

Friedrich Wilhelm Grandhomme (* 1834 ; † 1907 ) was a German doctor.

He came from Usingen, studied in Göttingen and Würzburg and received his doctorate in March 1860 in Gießen. med.

From 1867 he worked as a consultant for the tar paint factory Hoechst . In 1873 he had the first infirmary built. In 1874 he was employed as a company doctor. This makes him a pioneer in occupational medicine. From 1889 he was also a district physician in Frankfurt.
