Food storage containers

Food stored in fresh-keeping boxes should be protected from environmental influences and so stay fresh longer than would be the case outside the box. The containers made of plastic or other materials and closable with lids are nowadays available in all conceivable shapes and colors .

Earl Silas Tupper was the first to use plastic in the kitchen sector and is the founder of what is probably the best-known food storage container from Tupperware .
