Sambuca Pistoiese is an Italian municipality in the Tuscan province of Pistoia with 1535 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). It is located about 40 km north of Pistoia in the Apennines , right on the border with the Emilia-Romagna region . The municipality includes several scattered villages. The largest are Pavana , Treppio , Torri , Lagacci and Sambuca Castello .
The village maintains a twinning relationship with the city of Amgala in Western Sahara , which is part of the claimed territory of the Sahara Democratic Arab Republic .
Demographics
