Fritz Moser (politician, 1908)
Fritz Moser ( September 14, 1908 in Landiswil - April 20, 1985 in Bern ) was a Swiss lawyer, bank manager and politician ( BGB ).
Life
Moser, son of the farmer, community treasurer and community president Karl Moser and Ida geb. Hertig, studied Jus in Berne and then opened a practice as a notary in Thun.
He was the administrator of the savings bank Wangen an der Aare and also a local councilor there. From 1946 to 1958 he was the Bernese Grand Councilor and parliamentary group president of the farmers ', trade and citizens' party. In 1958 he became a councilor (1958 to 1960 judicial director, 1960 to 1974 finance and church director). From 1974 he worked as president of the cantonal bank.
He was also a board member of the Bern Music Society, President of the Landshut Castle Foundation , President of the Kunstmuseum Bern and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Berner Kraftwerke AG. During his tenure as a member of the government, Moser implemented the financial budget law and a tax reform.
He was married to Margaretha Elisabeth Hofer, daughter of Friedrich Hofer.
