from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Frohnishof (also: Fronishof ) is a deserted area in the city of Eisenach in Thuringia .

The Wartenberg from the northwest.

The Frohnishof was north of the city of Eisenach and east of Stregda about 500 m south of the small settlement Landstreit on the northern slope of the Wartenberg .

As early as 1384, Stregda and the Fronishof are mentioned in a document as a Franconian-Henneberg fiefdom. In 1725 the Fronishof was bought by the citizens of Stregda for 6,500 thalers, along with all of its accessories and land. In the middle of the 19th century the buildings of the small settlement were demolished and the corridor was transferred to the Stregda district.
