From Indian Lakes is a folk rock / indie rock band founded in 2009 , which was founded in a small town near the Yosemite National Park by Joey Vanucci ( vocals , electric guitar ).
Since it was founded, three albums and one EP have been released, of which the EP and the first two studio albums were self-produced. The third album, called Absent Sounds , was released on Triple Crown Records and entered the US album charts at number 200 on October 25, 2014 .
The band is completed by Enrique Gutierrez ( keyboard ), Chris Kellogg ( e-bass ), Justin Stanphill ( e-guitar ) and Tohm Ifergan ( drums ).
