The Social Democratic Front ( French Social Democratic Front to German  Social Democratic Front ), abbreviated SDF , is a social-democratic oriented political party in the West African nation of Cameroon .

The leader of the party is the politician Ni John Fru Ndi . The party is a full member of the Socialist International .

It is the largest and politically most promising opposition party in the country. It has its main constituency in the Anglophone parts of the country in the north and south-west (compare South Cameroon ). In the 2013 national parliamentary elections, the party won 18 of the 180 seats in the National Assembly . The party usually gets its best results in the province of Nord-Ouest .

The party is oriented towards social democracy and strongly opposes the strong position of President Paul Biya and the great influence of his party Rassemblement Démocratique du Peuple Camerounais .
