Fryma e Re ( Albanian for New Spirit , short term FeR ) is the name of a former political party in Kosovo . It was founded on October 5th, 2010 by Shpend Ahmeti and Ilir Deda and other members. The party worked for a democratic development of the state of Kosovo. "We don't differentiate citizens based on their origins ... they are individuals and everyone is represented regardless of who they are," Deda said in an interview. The party took part in the parliamentary elections in Kosovo in 2010 and achieved 2.2 percent and no parliamentary seat. FeR accused the government under Prime Minister Hashim Thaçi of manipulating the election process. On March 30, 2011, FeR joined the Vetëvendosje! on the grounds that smaller parties should join together to form larger parties in order to be able to effect change.
