The football league system in England , also known as the football pyramid , is a series of related football leagues in England. In addition to English clubs, a few Welsh clubs also participate. These leagues are divided into levels, the Premier League is Level 1, the Football League Championship is 2, and so on. The number of clubs varies between 10 and 24.
Divisions
In addition to the level system, there is also the division into divisions. The different divisions have the same level, but the number of clubs is different, as is the region in which they are played. The tournaments of the different divisions usually take place at the same time.
