The Fuchsbusch is a small stagnant body of water to the west of the Magdeburg district of Randau-Calenberge .

The small lake extends in the area of Greifenwerder not far from the right bank of the Elbe . When the Elbe floods, the Fuchsbusch outside the Elbe dyke is affected by flooding. The lake is around 100 meters long and only 20 meters wide. It extends from the southwest to the northeast. There are some trees on the east bank.

The name Fuchsbusch could refer to a wood that originally existed in this area. In 1663, the transfer of a piece of wood from Fuchsbusch from Magdeburg canon Johann George von Taubenheim to Christian Ernst von Alvensleben, which was in the Pöteritzer Feldmark before Westerhüsen near Randau. Possibly this was the area of today's fox bush.
