Fufuluo
The Fufuluo (副 伏 罗) were a people in Asia who settled in what is now Xinjiang .

As a tribe of the Gaoche , the Fufuluo were able to unite the twelve clans of the Gaoche from 481 onwards and found their own state in Turfan in 487 . This was on the Tuin River near the Gaochang Kingdom, with which there were also conflicts. The rule was divided into a northern and a southern area.
In 490, the Fufuluo allied themselves with the Toba and subsequently attacked the Rouran regularly. In 492 they succeeded in conquering important cities in the east. Later there were civil unrest, Khan Biliyan (跋 利 延) was overthrown and the Fufuluo were briefly vassals of the Toba. In 508 Futu, ruler of the Rouran, was able to defeat the Fufuluo, but was killed on their return. In 516 Chounu, the son of Futus, succeeded in subjugating the Fufuluo, the ruler Mietu went into exile with the Hephtalites . 520 the state of Yifu (伊 匐) was restored and the Rouran expelled. When riots broke out in Rouran State, the Fufuluo invaded their territory and were only repulsed in 524. Then they were defeated several times by the Rouran and in 541 incorporated into their empire.
Most recently, the Fufuluo supported the eastern Wei in the civil war against the western Wei in China.
The Fufuluo were involved in a revolt in 546 in the formation of the people of the Tiele (铁勒).
