The Fuldaer Geschichtsblätter is the magazine of the Fuldaer Geschichtsverein founded in 1896 .
It contains articles on the history of Fulda and the surrounding area. The magazine has appeared intermittently since 1902, initially as a monthly supplement to the Fuldaer Zeitung , and later at irregular intervals. After publication breaks from 1915 to 1919 and from 1939 to 1953, the publication was resumed in 1954 with the 30th year without interruption until the present. The Fulda University and State Library is the depot library for the association's holdings.
The journal is often quoted as FGBl. or FdGbll .
