Fumiaki Miura

Fumiaki Miura ( Japanese 三浦 文 彰 , Miura Fumiaki ; * 1993 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a Japanese violinist.

Life

At the age of three, Fumiaki Miura received his first violin lessons from his father, a concertmaster, later at the Toho Gakuen School of Music in Tokyo with Tsugio Tokunaga. From 2009 he studied with Pavel Vernikov at the Vienna Conservatory .

In the same year he was the first prize winner of the Hanover International Violin Competition " Joseph Joachim " and also won both critics and audience awards.

In 2010 he appeared at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival , the Festival Mitte Europa , Menton Festival, Festival Julian Rachlin and Friends and Braunschweig Classix Festival, playing with artists such as Itamar Golan, Julian Rachlin, Janine Jansen and Pavel Vernikov.
