Fun'ya no Yasuhide

Fun'ya no Yasuhide ( Japanese 文 屋 康 秀 , alternative spelling: 文琳 ; * date of birth unknown; † 885 ?) Was a Japanese poet and nobleman of the Heian period . He is one of the six best waka poets and one of the thirty-six immortals of medieval poetry .

Five of his poems were included in the Kokinshū , another in the Goshūi wakashū collection. One of his poems can also be found in the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu .

His son was the poet Fun'ya no Asayasu .
