Fun Boy Three was a short-lived British new wave band formed in 1981 by Terry Hall , singer of The Specials , along with other former members, Neville Staples and Lynval Golding .

The biggest hit in Great Britain was "Our Lips Are Sealed" , written by Terry Hall and Jane Wiedlin , a singer with the American band The Go-Gos . In total, the band had seven singles in the top 20 of the British charts from 1981 to 1983. The three singers in the background of the hit It Ain't What You Do, It's The Way That You Do It became very successful as Bananarama a short time later . The band broke up in 1983, Hall devoted himself to new projects.
