Toxicological Sciences , abbreviated Tox. Sci. , is a monthly, peer-reviewed journal published by Oxford University Publishers on behalf of the United States' Society of Toxicology. The first edition appeared in January 1981. At that time the journal was still under the name Fundamental and Applied Toxicology . Members of the "Society of Toxicology" have online access to the journal and can subscribe to the print edition at very low cost. Since 1998 it appears as Toxicological Sciences . The journal publishes articles from all areas of toxicology .
