Radio station for radio traffic on board ( English - on-board communication station ) is - according to Article 1.79 of the Implementing Regulations for Radio Service (VO Funk) of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) - defined as " mobile radio service - low power - of the mobile maritime radio service for internal use Radio communication on board a ship or for radio communication between a ship and its lifeboats and rafts during rescue exercises or work or for radio communication within a tug or push convoy and for radio communication with instructions for working with lines and for anchoring ".
