Furious Barking was an Italian thrash metal band from Ascoli Piceno that was formed in 1988 and split up in 1993.

history

The band was formed in 1988. This was followed by the first appearances and in 1990 the EP De Industrialized , which consisted of two earlier demos of the band. The EP was re-mixed and re-mixed on vinyl the following year via Goddamn Church Records . This was followed by other gigs with groups like Vanadium , Stige, Electric Lady and Algophobia. In the summer of 1992 the band recorded the album Theory of Diversity , which could not be released due to financial reasons. Due to a change of line-up and decreasing interest on the part of the fans, the group broke up at the end of 1993. The members then devoted themselves to other band projects. In 2007, Punishment 18 Records became aware of the previously unreleased album and released it in 2008 after it was remastered in November 2007 at Castriota Studio .

style

According to classicthrash.com, the band play technically very demanding Thrash Metal on Theory of Diversity . Due to the sometimes very complicated riffs it lacks catchiness, but is also a trademark for the band. According to thethrashmetalguide.com , the EP De Industrialized contains both hardcore punk and technical thrash metal songs. On Theory of diversity the band playing classic and aggressive thrash metal, similar to Storm Alert of Torture .
