Furka tunnel

The Furka tunnel is used to describe two railway tunnels:

  • The Furka Base Tunnel of the Matterhorn – Gotthard Railway, built in 1976–1982 with a length of 15.4 km between Oberwald and Realp at 1538 m above sea level. NN
  • The Furka summit tunnel of the Furka mountain route steam railway, completed in 1925 with a length of 1874 m between the Muttbach and Furka stops at 2160 m above sea level. NN
