Fuyu (Songyuan)

Fuyu ( Chinese  扶余 市 , Pinyin Fúyú Shì ) is an independent city that belongs to the administrative area of ​​the independent city ​​of Songyuan in the west of the Chinese province of Jilin . It has an area of ​​4,464 km² and has 770,000 inhabitants. Its main town is the large community of Sanchahe (三岔 河镇).

On January 24, 2013, the former Fuyu County was converted into an independent city.

The Great Jin Dynasty Victory Stele ( Da Jin Deshengtuo songbei大金 得胜 陀 颂 碑), the earliest Jurchen text from the Dading era (1161–1189) of the Shìzōng 世宗, has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1988 ( 3-178) .
