Götz George Prize

The Götz-George-Preis is a German acting award . It was brought into being by the foundation named after the actor Götz George and awarded for the first time in 2018. Predominantly older actresses and actors who have made a name for themselves in the art of acting are to be honored.

The prize is endowed with 10,000 EUR. It is awarded in the form of a sculpture designed by Tanja George , the actor's daughter, to commemorate her father's signature.
