Vic Saludar
Vic Saludar (born November 3, 1990 in Polomolok , Philippines , as Victorio Saludar ) is a Filipino boxer in the straw weight and current world champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO).
Professional career
In 2013 Saludar began his professional career successfully, but had to accept his first defeat in the third fight against his compatriot Powell Balaba, he lost in a six-round fight prematurely in the fourth round.
At the end of December 2015, Saludar competed against the Japanese Kōsei Tanaka for the World Boxing Association (WBA) championship and lost in the sixth round by classic knockout
On July 13, 2018, Saludar met Ryūya Yamanaka (also Japanese). That fight was for the WBO world title. Saludar won this fight in Kobe , Japan , by unanimous judge decision.
