Günter W. Kienitz
Günter W. Kienitz (* before 1980) is a German author of non-fiction, children's and young adult books. He lives in Bitburg .
Kienitz has been writing for various publishers since 1993 (including Xenos, C. Bertelsmann , moses. Verlag, Ökotopia ) and has been translating primarily children's and young people's books from English / American since 1995.
He studied psychology, pedagogy and sociology in Munich, then completed an apprenticeship at the Bavarian State College for Photography and worked as a photo journalist and photographer for various youth magazines and photo agencies in London, Hamburg, Tokyo and Monaco.
Together with his wife Bettina Grabis , Günter W. Kienitz has published around 200 titles (books and CD-Roms) so far. His best-known works are his Internet help for young people and the translations of the goose bumps stories.
