The Günyurdu dam ( Turkish Günyurdu Barajı ) is located 6 km northwest of the district town of Pazaryeri in the northwestern Turkish province of Bilecik .
The Günyurdu dam was built in 1993-2005 on Bakraş Çayı, a tributary of the Karasu Çayı . It is used to irrigate an area of 805 ha. The barrier structure is a 37 m high stone embankment . The dam volume is 681,000 m³. The reservoir covers an area of 0.43 km² with normal damming. The storage space is 7.4 million m³.
