G.703

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The guideline G.703 Physical / electrical characteristics of hierarchical digital interfaces of the ITU-T describes the interfaces that are required for the transmission of the data transmission rates described in guideline G.702 Digital hierarchy bit rates . The interfaces enable the connection of digital network components (e.g. multiplexers, end devices , network terminations , exchanges ) via the telephone network .

Interfaces

  • 64 kbit / s
  • 1544 kbit / s
  • 2048 kbit / s
  • 6312 kbit / s
  • 8448 kbit / s
  • 32,064 kbit / s
  • 34,368 kbit / s
  • 44,736 kbit / s
  • 97,728 kbit / s
  • 139,264 kbit / s
  • 155,520 kbit / s

Associated Policies

  • G.702 describes the hierarchical structure of PDH technology, which means that the different plesio-synchronous data transmission rates used in the telephone network are listed.
  • G.704 describes the frame structures for some of the interfaces.
