GL Pharma (known as Gerot Lannach ) is an Austrian company in the pharmaceutical industry based in Lannach, Styria . The pharmaceuticals produced serve numerous areas of application, such as the treatment of allergies, bacterial infections, diabetes, cancer, chronic pain and Parkinson's. The company also produces potassium iodide tablets for building up an iodine block in the event of a nuclear accident with a release of radioactive 131 I. In this context, the company booked the largest single order in its history in 2019, when the German Federal Office for Radiation Protection ordered 190 million iodine tablets as a precaution in the event of a major accident with the release of 131 I.

GL Pharma has its origins in Lannacher Heilmittel GmbH , which was founded in Lannach in 1947. This company was taken over in 1966 by the married couple Leopold and Hannelore Bartenstein. In 1997 the Viennese pharmaceutical manufacturer Gerot Pharmazeutika was bought up. Both companies were merged in 2009 to form GL Pharma with the Gerot Lannach brand. In spring 2019, GL Pharma started expanding its production capacities in Lannach. The value of this investment, which is to create space for 100 new jobs, was stated at 60 million euros.

GL Pharma is based in Schloss Lannach and is a subsidiary of Bahopharm GmbH, which is owned by the Bartenstein family. Genericon Pharma is thus a sister company of GL Pharma GmbH below Bahopharms.
