GEEA

GEEA was an award as well as a label given by the Group for Energy Efficient Appliances to recognize electronic devices such as televisions, computers, notebooks, faxes and copiers with low standby consumption . In Germany, the label was awarded by the GED, which consisted of energy agencies and environmental organizations. The group dissolved in 2008 in favor of the Energy Star label.
