GMS Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology
GMS Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology ( MIBE ) is an open access scientific journal in the fields of medical informatics , biometrics , epidemiology , medical documentation and informatics in the life sciences .
The MIBE is the official body of the German Society for Medical Informatics, Biometrics and Epidemiology (GMDS) and the Department of Informatics in the Life Sciences (ILW) of the Society for Informatics (GI). For the GMDS, the MIBE is continuing the tradition of a scientific journal founded in 1969 with “Computer science, biometrics and epidemiology in medicine and biology”.
MIBE publishes articles and reports on the innovative use of methods, concepts, tools and solutions in the mentioned fields.
In addition to original articles are review articles , commentaries, and case and research reports published. All submissions are subject to a systematic peer review process . The publication is in English or in German with an English abstract.
