The GTP 100 was a device carrier , which was built in the 1980s by the breeding and experimental field mechanization in Nordhausen in about 80 copies. The tractor was designed for application, sowing, maintenance and light transport work for seed breeding and field test farms . Various attachments and a hydraulic loading platform for 850 kilograms were also available. The GTP 100 could also be used as a portal device carrier. The red painted vehicle was delivered with a cabin.

A three-point hydraulic system was available at the rear for attachments . The tractor was powered by a two-cylinder four-stroke diesel engine from the Cunewalde engine plant , which produced 15 hp. In the rear-wheel drive vehicle, the engine power was transmitted via a reversible four-speed gearbox with two groups.
