The G 37 is an occupational medical check-up for VDU workstations to prevent damage or to detect it at an early stage.

The initial examination must be offered before commencing work at computer workstations, as general anamnesis and complaints such as

In the event of a complaint, a follow-up examination is required within 36 months.

An early follow-up examination must be carried out

  • after illnesses giving rise to concerns about continued employment
  • at the request of an employee who, regardless of the results of previous investigations, complains about complaints that could be workplace-related
  • at medical discretion in individual cases, e.g. B. for temporary health concerns

Depending on the intensity and duration of the activity on the screen device, asthenopic complaints such as: B. headaches , burning and watery eyes, flickering, double vision or complaints caused by poor posture.

An employee at a VDU workstation is anyone who usually uses a VDU for a not insignificant part of his normal work.
