Gaššuliyawiya
Gaššuliyawiya (not to be confused with Gaššulawiya , a wife of Muršilis II. , For whom the spelling Gaššuliyawiya is sometimes also encountered in the specialist literature) was a Hittite princess and daughter of Ḫattušilis III. with puduḫepa . She was married to the Amurri king Bentešina , a vassal of her father. It is not certain whether she was also the birth mother of Bentešina's son and successor Šaušgamuwa . It is historically attested, among other things, by a letter from her mother in which she expresses the intention to visit her daughter.
