Gabba Front Berlin is a Berlin hardcore techno project.
history
Gabba Front Berlin was founded in Berlin in the mid-1990s . Their music is often assigned to the style of Speedcore . The closure of the Berlin techno club Bunker in 1996 triggered the formation to intensify their musical work.
The first public appearances followed only 3 years later, a first EP with One In Seven not until 2001. Together with the release of One In Seven , the first international appearances followed.
Probably her best-known titles are Lacrima Mosa Est (often incorrectly called Speedcore Lacrima ) and Bloodstorm , two dark Speedcore titles that were re-released in 2006 on the Canadian music label Darkera .
Today Gabba Front Berlin are among the nationally and internationally most successful hardcore techno acts from Berlin and play at major events such as Mayday , the Ground Zero Festival or the Hardshock Festival in Zwolle . Musical publications, on the other hand, are rare today. Usually these only take place in the context of compilations together with other artists. The last release of this kind so far is the 2013 title Thanatos on the compilation Nocturnal Violence by the music label Atomic Annihilation .
