Westende (Belgium)

Westende is a seaside resort on the Belgian coast. It belongs to the municipality of Middelkerke , West Flanders Province .

Westende has two stations on the Kusttram , the longest tram line in the world. The place is also known as the “pearl of the coast” (Parel van de kust). The place is divided into Westende-Dorp, which is a little in the hinterland and Westende-Bad. Large campsites and bungalow parks are located behind the dunes.
