from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The fork , also known as the drawbar, is a common figure in heraldry or, if it touches the edge of the shield , a herald's image . It is a special form of the drawbar . The special feature is the full-surface filling in a tincture between the inclined sub-elements, like the rest of the Herold's picture. If a different tincture from the shield or field color is used between the inclined elements, it is a filled drawbar .

If it falls in the coat of arms , then it becomes a Göpelstück . All previous forms can apply here and always have the prefix “Göpel”.

Is the pole portion from the head of the shield to the sign foot throughout, so it is described as pile drawbar and the fallen mold with pile Göpel. Condition is the uniform tinging of the entire figure without dividing lines.
